In 2001 my introduction
to this art began on our annual camping trip to Eagle Lake,Ca. Serendipitously, my friend brought along the book" Pine Needle
Basketry" by Judy Mallow; along with the fact that I had an unlimited supply of raw materials at my fingertips, I started
my first basket. Now, I enjoy the dying, designing, embellishing, color coordinating and even the tedious cleaning, sorting,
and grouping of needles. I'm now affiliated with: The Pine Needle Group, and The Bay Area Basket Makers.
